Built in 2001/2002 for the Inuit Circumpolar Conference of 2002, the Katittavik Town Hall Theatre/Conference Centre was designed to be a multifunctional, multifaceted Arts Centre. The versatile facility is regularly used for conferences, conventions, seminars and other gatherings, including the annual Aqpik Jam Music Festival. The movie projector was recently upgraded to a state-of-the-art Barco Digital projector and movies are presented in the 400-seat auditorium on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
